Just a few pics to show you what you can expect if you are staying south of the river estuary on Klong Prao beach. These photos taken on 1 November, just at the start of the High Season, so certain areas – especially around the beach restaurants and resorts at the far south of the beach can get a lot busier. The closer you move north towards the river estuary, the quieter the beach gets as people staying in fancy resorts tend not to like to walk very far. ( There’s a definite correlation between room rate and the laziness of guest at a beachfront hotel.)
Pics taken walking from north to south starting near Panviman Resort and ending at the south end of the beach at Chok Dee Resort on the peninsula. The tide is pretty high in these photos, normally there will be a lot more beach to walk on.
Resorts in this area include: Panviman Resort, Tropicana Resort, Barali Resort, The Dewa, Amari Emerald Cove plus cheaper options such as Chok Dee, Magic Resort, VJ Hotel and Grand Cabana. Basic hut accommodation can be found at Tiger Huts & KP Huts.
