Barali Beach Resort is in a very nice location and accommodation is all in villas. It’s one of the smallest beach resorts on Koh Chang with just 24 rooms

At the rear of the property, closest to reception are the Deluxe villas. Next come the Deluxe pool villas and then just off the beach are the beachfront Villas. These have recently been given a makeover/ The dark wood interiors of the Deluxe villas appear dated nowadays. The brighter, lighter tones on the beachfront Villas are a definite improvement. In all the villas the bathroom is dominated by a huge walk in bath. I’m not sure if any guests have ever had the patience to wait for it to fill and use it. But they look impressive.
So the location is good, the resort is pretty good and there’s a local village just a few minutes walk away. The room rates are aren’t too bad either. It lies adjacent to Centara Tropicana Resort and 2 minutes walk from Emerald Cove and the Dewa. But these are all large resorts.
So try Barali Beach Resort if you want to avoid families with young kids and want a more inimate, boutique resort in this part of the island.

Good relaxing stay but ruined a bit by the sand fly bites 😀 - Location was great, and pool was good 😞 - Paths around resort very uneven and dark in evening, could do with updating. Lots of sand flies, got bitten all over, would have been good if hotel warned about these on check in.

It was satisfied staying there. 😀 - Private, Quiet , Nice atmosphere for a real relaxation . 😞 - Some outdoor stuff and furniture are a bit worn out.
