At the rear of the property, closest to reception are the Deluxe villas. Next come the Deluxe pool villas and then just off the beach are the beachfront Villas. These have recently been given a makeover/ The dark wood interiors of the Deluxe villas appear dated nowadays. The brighter, lighter tones on the beachfront Villas are a definite improvement. In all the villas the bathroom is dominated by a huge walk in bath. I’m not sure if any guests have ever had the patience to wait for it to fill and use it. But they look impressive.
So the location is good, the resort is pretty good and there’s a local village just a few minutes walk away. The room rates are aren’t too bad either. It lies adjacent to Centara Tropicana Resort and 2 minutes walk from Emerald Cove and the Dewa. But these are all large resorts.
So try Barali Beach Resort if you want to avoid families with young kids and want a more inimate, boutique resort in this part of the island.
It was satisfied staying there. 😀 - Private, Quiet , Nice atmosphere for a real relaxation . 😞 - Some outdoor stuff and furniture are a bit worn out.

Exceptional 😀 - Me and my family like it from the moment we arrived. Staff is very friendly the bungalow nice very clean, lovely swimming in front of the sea. My son loved the breakfast. We will definitely come again. 😞 - None

Barali Experience 😀 - It is near 2 very nice restaurants that serve very authentic Thai food. One of them even decorated the food artistically. 😞 - The shower basin water doesn't run well and slippery. Breakfast variety is not much.

Be aware! Badbugs in the rooms 😀 - The environment in which the resort is wonderful 😞 - We had badbugs in both of our villas, and the stuff pretend that everything is ok despite our complain and showing fresh bites. The staff onselv was not too helpful except the one young boy at reception. On the photos the rooms looks very high end , but in reality the fit out should need renovation, everything is old , it seems that since it was built nobody was doing investments for renovation. The breakfast is all day the same, and the prices in restaurant are too high comparing the neighbourhood.

Nice room food not up to scratch 😀 - We had a villa with pool very nice and clean good location on the beach 😞 - Breakfast was cold even at opening times bacon was ready only 1 day of our 5 day stay which is left on a table left to go cold We wanted room service no menu's in the room also on several occasions rung room service no with no reply
