Chaipura Resort is one of the top rated small resorts on the island. It is situated overlooking an inland lagoon on the south coast of the island. Just a one minute walk from Klong Kloi beach.
There are only nine rooms at Chaipura Resort. The rooms are all spacious and well appointed. They are fitted with very nice hand made wooden furniture from the north of Thailand. As the front of all bungalows is a spacious veranda which has great views across the lagoon to the mountains inland.
The bungalows are also larger than average. They range from from 34sqm Deluxe bungalows to larger 40sqm Family bungalows which can sleep four people. All bungalows are equipped with a wide range of amenities such as LCD TV, air conditioning, mini bar, and a terrace.
The resort benefits from being a little away from the bars and restaurants on the beach. Noise isn’t an issue. It also adds to the feeling of privacy. A set breakfast is included in the room rate, there isn’t a buffet option. However, the choice is varied and guests seldom complain of lack of options. the staff are also very accommodating when it comes to taking guests specific dietary requirements into consideration.
Chaipura Resort offers a very good standard of accommodation for a very reasonable price. Often well under 2,000 Baht / night. If you want to stay around the Klong Kloi beach area and Chivapuri Beach Resort is out of your budget, then this would be my choice.
