Harley Moon Hideaway is located in the centre of peaceful Bailan village. It’s a calm oasis but is within easy walking distance of two small beaches. And for guests who want some nightlife, the bright lights of Lonely Beach are only a 5 minute taxi ride away.
The resort offers a “put your feet up and relax”, home from home environment, where hosts Tom and Cheree offer local advice about the island and its many attractions. They will also assist guests with bookings for island activities and excursions.
The seven comfortable and spacious air-conditioned chalets are all named after different Harley bikes. They overlook the immaculate, landscaped tropical gardens and centerpiece fiery red tiled swimming pool that provides guests with the ideal escape from the hot sun.
Each chalet has a King-sized bed, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-fridge, ensuite bathroom and a sundeck overlooking the gardens and pool. Families please note that only children over 10 years of age are allowed to stay.
Since opening, Harley Moon has been racking up awards from Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Hotelscombined and elsewhere. Guests obviously rate it as one of the best small resorts on the island.
So, if beachfront isn’t a priority and you need a value for money, welcoming resort with all the comforts of home, then it’s definitely worth putting on your shortlist.

Relaxing stay at a small family run resort! 😀 - Quiet and very nice little bungalows of high quality and love to detail! The owners are very kind, helpful and relaxed. The perfect hosts for vacation! Just great! 😞 - All perfect!

Nice small hotel with pool in Bailan bay 😀 - Very nice french couple who run this small hotel. Nice room, good breakfast & bar, pool. Supermarket across the street.

We made the best of the accommodation. It’s not a resort. 😀 - Nice restaurant and cafe opposite. 😞 - Having to use a bin to put toilet paper in as we weren’t allowed to flush any toilet paper! On a very busy main road. Restaurant is actually the living quarters for the family that own the property. No direct access to the beach. Staff swept the patios and pathways at 7.30 am and the pool pump was very noisy early in the morning.

Excellent small resort in Bailan 😀 - We liked everything, super nice and clean bungalow with a terrace, big bathroom with amazing water pressure, beautiful garden and very hospitable host. Many restaurants nearby. Highhly recommended! 😞 - None

Very good 😀 - Lovely bungalows in luscious garden. Could work on laptop in various areas in the bungalow in shared areas. Offers free water bottle refills at reception and had a metal water bottle in each room to use during your stay - which was amazing and one of the only places we've seen do this which is shocking. 😞 - Could have had softer side lighting in the bungalow
