Evergreen Resort is one of the top rated small resorts on the island and is located in an inland valley at the north of Koh Chang. Away from the beach, but surrounded by nature.
Whilst the majority of tourists who come to Koh Chang prefer to stay by the beach, there are also a lot who come for the fresh air and to just relax and enjoy the nature, away from the busy beach resorts. Evergreen Resort caters to these people.
Evergreen Resort has a variety of rooms for nature lovers. From 25sqm hotel style rooms with pool views, to stand alone bungalows and Family bungalows. The largest of which has a Queen and a King size bed, so is ideal for a family of 4 or even 5 if the kids are young.
The rooms are built in a landscaped garden that was one a rubber plantation. It has been replanted with tropical plants and flowers and offers plenty of space for active kids to run around. In the centre of the garden is a large swimming pool.
The in house restaurant serves breakfast and other meals. There are also a handful of small restaurants in Klong Son village, 15 minutes walk away. And the excellent Blue Blues art restaurant is a few minutes walk further inland into the valley. The resort has free bicycles for guests to use to explore the valley and also cycle down to the beach at the Siam Royal Bay development. There is also a free shuttle service four times per day to White Sand beach.
Room rates are from around 1,500 to 3,000 Baht during High Season. Also worth comparing to Feel@Chill Resort which likewise gets good reviews and is a little closer to the main road and a little cheaper.
