Beachfront at Serenity Resort

😀 - Gorgeous beachfront location which was quiet. Lovely pool and use of paddleboards and kayaks on the beach. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Food on site was varied and delicious. 😞 - Nothing

Seriously serene 😀 - Everything it’s name suggests. Serenity is located on the quiet side of the island which is incredibly beautiful, if a little remote but perfectly manageable with a taxi or moped Plenty of space, BEST food on the island, no bar music, wonderful sunrises, free SUP’s and super friendly staff 😞 - Everything was perfect

Peaceful, relaxing hotel, right on the seashore. 😀 - Located on the quiet side of the island, the beach is a couple of steps away from the pool, restaurant, and rooms. The hotel provides kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkelling gear for the use of the guests. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the thai food was delicious and the drinks were reasonably priced as was the food. We had the pool villa with sea view, which also comes with a plunge pool on the roof and seating for umpteen people. Rooms were comfortable and sufficiently clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Some may see the beach as a bit strange due to it not being totally sandy and white. On this side of the island, the beaches are quite rocky, and the sand is a brownish colour. On the other side of the island they have white sandy beaches, there are also lots of bars, shops and restaurants and a lot more people. 😞 - Nothing of note, all good.

Super friendly small resort hotel 😀 - So friendly, lovely small resort hotel with its own beach (with free to use kayaks / canoes / paddleboards) and a nice good sized swimming pool. Food exceptional (be aware the portion sizes are large), happy hour for cocktails (they do a great Mojito). 😞 - No dislikes, the hotel is on the quiet side of the island, there is nothing else there you'd need to travel if you wanted to go out in the evening, this was what we preferred but not fir everyone.
