You’ll find photos of the actual sandy part of Lonely Beach elsewhere. The photos here are of the main area, just south of the actual beach where there is an ever expanding cluster of budget bungalows, bars and restaurants. Also in this area is Warapura Resort, very good value accommodation if you need some home comforts.

I was there in 2004, wow changed too much in such a short time and a different breed of traveler visiting now by the the looks of things. I will be back with my wife in 2010, but no 150 baht hut this time though. She will kill me.
