Paradise Cottage is a 30 bungalow resort by the sea at the southern end of Lonely Beach. It was established in 2005 as a backpacker hut resort but as the area moved upmarket the owner decided to extensively remodel the bungalows and replace the original wooden huts with far more comfortable concrete bungalows.

The airconditioned bungalows have the prime sea views – their balconies being only a few metres from the stony shoreline. The fan bungalows are set behind them.
Also by the shore is a small swimming pool; plus a laid back bar and restaurant area where cool jazz music fills the air and guests can choose to sit at conventional tables or laze in hammocks on on triangular floor pillows in the covered gazebos by the sea.
This is a resort that is ideal for travellers on a budget who want some peace and quiet but also want to be within 5 minutes walk of Lonely Beach’s nightlife. If you appreciate a friendly, informal resort with a bit more style than the average beach hut, then Paradise Cottage is well worth considering.
Excellent 😁 😀 - We booked a room with a sea view and had no regrets! The room was comfortable, clean, well-equipped, and the air conditioning was essential. The staff was very kind to us, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the hammock facing the sea – very relaxing! We stayed for just two nights, but we definitely wished we could have stayed longer! I highly recommend this place. 😞 - Nothing

😀 - Loved the pool and chillout areas with hammocks near the pool, beautiful sea view from there. Rooms were nice, but missing simple amenities like fridge and kettle, which would've been nice for the longer stay I booked 😞 - No fridge or kettle in rooms.

Ok for a couple of nights 😀 - Basic amenities, says Gym but, very basic. A pleasant budget cheap stay. No frills, Breakfast not included. Food is good and reasonably priced, kitchen closes 1-3pm. Views are beautiful with hammocks hung from the posts to laze around. Good for back packers on a budget, not far from bang bao pier for boat tours or diving, but roads are not safe to walk you can get bht bus from top of hill on entry of resort. Road to resort is dark at night & uneven. They have wifi. No Beach - lots of rocks, need shoes . A short walk from town a few bars but, wouldn’t want to walk it at night if on your own. If you like banging music you will be ok in town here. MotorBikes are available to hire. Staff are friendly. Lonley beach is a bit further away from main areas of Kai bae beach etc. Deluxe rooms are very basic have air con & sea view “obscured” 2 x deck chairs . Note NO FRIDGE, NO KETTLE in deluxe rooms.

Superb 😀 - Oh my goodness!! I LOVE this place! Great stay in Lonely beach! Beautiful hotel. Beautiful pool side. Great wifi. Very helpful staff. Right by the sea side. 😞 - Limited food options. Unfortunately saw their pillows without the pillow case and they are mouldy. Knocked over my drink glass by mistake and was charged an extra 200 baht for a broken glasss . . Which was even 50 baht more expensive than what the actual drink was worth. Far from mainroad, had a bit of an issue calling taxis to come pick you up from hotel.
