2010 in Photos

February 2010 – Treading carefully to avoid oil and blood and showing great determination in the face of other people’s adversity, this plucky tourist wasn’t going to let a fatal accident prevent her from getting to the beach.

I had planned to do one of those proper, lengthy ‘Year in Review’ type of pages but about a week ago I realised that if you want to do that then you really should plan it in advance.   Trawling back though loads of posts and trying to cherry pick snippets of info and photos takes a lot of effort and the end of the year is very busy time.

Therefore, here’s just a few of the hundreds of photos I’ve added to the site in the past 12 months.   Hover the mouse over each for some info and click for the big picture.   These aren’t in any particular order.

  • That was taken standing on the jetty at our guesthouse looking west. The roof is the neighbours house. But only get sunsets like this in October / November, at the end of the rainy season. High season the sun often just fades into the horizon.

  • Hi Ian

Really impressed with the picture in part 3, third one down on the far left.
Is it taken from your guesthouse?

  • It’s a dolphin that had it’s flesh cut off by fishermen. I found the body on Klong Prao beach. ( I have been messing around with some settings on the site – hence the 404 )
