Just fancied a bit of a walk today so went to stretch my legs and do a little loop round from our house to the village, past the school, along the abandoned road at the Koh Chang National Park boundary and then along the elephant trails back to the village, across to Blue Lagoon and back home again. A couple of hours well spent. The furthest inland I went is only about 25 minutes walk from the beach. The idea was to take some pics of butterflies as there are usually lots around the old road. There were but only one decided to stay still long enough for me to get a nice photo.
Anyway, here’s a glimpse of what lies within easy walking distance of the main road on the west coast of Koh Chang. Try following some of the tracks leading inland near where you are staying and see where you end up.
