On 22 November the Thai Navy finally got round to sinking a decommissioned ship, the HTMS Chang, formerly the USS Lincoln Country.
The aim is to create a new dive site and artificial reef off the south west of Koh Chang. The 100 metre long wreck lies in around 25m deep water and is the largest wreck in Thailand and so should prove popular with divers.
