West Coast Islands

Koh Yuak

Koh Yuak is one of the more accessible small islands as snorkelling trips do visit the island.   So no need to paddle a kayak here unless you really want to.   Kai Bae Hut run daily half day trips to the island and the Sea Adventures catamaran also stops here.   Kayak Chang also do guided kayak tours which include a stop here. The island is small but there is some excellent snorkelling off the narrow white sand beach on its east coast.   You will see plenty of fish and if you take some bread or fruit you will find yourself being swarmed as soon as you walk into the water.   The rear of the island is just cliffs similar to others in this six island group.

Worth Visiting? Yes, for sure. Good snorkeling off the beach, no long boat trip and therefore ideal for families with young kids or people who just want to get away from Koh Chang for a couple of hours. Great views and clear water.
