It’s a good size island but unfortunately there isn’t much to see when you get there. No beaches, just a couple of areas on the western shore where you can pull a kayak onto a beach of stones / dead coral. The shoreline is a lot of untidy scrub. The area is popular with local fishermen but doesn’t appear to be good for snorkelling, low visibility when compared to most other islands. Best feature are the large boulders at the southern tip.
Worth Visiting? No. This and the smaller Koh Salak, just to the north won’t make it onto any ‘must see’ list of islands in this part of Thailand. Stick to paddling around the mangroves in the bay instead.
