One of the small islands that virtually all ‘4 island’ or ‘5 island’ snorkelling trips go to. Plus some dive trips. It is very close, within swimming distance of Koh Laun, aka Koh Yak Lek which is also on the itinerary of many trips. Again, not a particularly interesting island above water but you are guaranteed very clear water during High Season and will see fish. ‘Yak’ means ‘giant’ not sure how it got it’s name but there are a couple of very large boulders rising out of the sea on the western side of the island.
Worth Visiting? Yes. And you probably will if you take a snorkelling trip from Koh Chang.
