A beautiful little island that has everything. However, many people dont make it to the white sand beach on the south coast as most tour boats moor off the more sheltered north coast during High Season. The north of the island is dark volcanic rock, nothing special to look at. Above water the southern side is by far the nicest. But for snorkelling the north and west of the island are great spots. the water is very shallow off the beach and there are plenty of rocks just below the surface so don’t try getting a speedboat on there. There are mooring buoys for boats at the northeast and southeast of the island.
Worth Visiting? Definite Yes. In the past snorkel trips stopped here but technically the island is currently closed to allow coral rehabilitation. So may not be possible to visit.
