Sea Breeze Resort
Sea Breeze Bungalows are located on the main road towards the south of Kai Bae beach.
They provide functional, clean air-conditioned rooms just off the street, which are fine for budget travellers.
The beach is 3 minutes walk away and you have a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Not really a place for kids. More for couples who are looking to make their money go further.
Worth a look if you’ve been to Koh Chang before and just need a place to base yourself while you go out to the beach all day or explore the island.

I stayed here a few months ago. I love Thailand. That’s why I keep on coming back. :-)
I booked a room online. I emailed the hotel to confirm about the booking. They replied promptly and they said that everything was pretty clear.
I tried communicating with them on social media but they didn’t have one. That’s too sad. Most of the hotels I’ve been have social media channels where people who have stayed or wished to stay could interact with the people behind those establishments, in this case, Sea Breeze.
I arrived late afternoon from Pattaya. So, I had no problem with check-in. The staff was very efficient in handling my reservation. I took a Superior room. I know it was a lot for one person but I like staying in a big room.
No complaints. The aircon was cold and the wifi signal was good. they’re my main requirements. The only other thing was the bed. it was a bit hard. I’ve stayed in cheaper places with better mattresses. But that wasn’t a big deal. Inside the fridge were water bottles. But they were not free. Weird.
But the only other problem I had was lack of power sockets. I travel with a phone, Ipad, camera and a GoPro for diving. Plus have some spare batteries. So two sockets isn’t enough. I ended up buying a power cord with a few plug sockets in it from a local hardware store.
The beach is only 5 minutes walk. There’s a couple of good cocktail places nearby, Mojito Bar and another opposite the 7-eleven. Also papa’s Deli near the entrance to the resort is a great to grab a coffee and sandwich and watch the street life.
It met my requirements. What more can I say. Obviously, dont stay here if you want a pool or to be beachfront or want a huge garden for kids to play in.
