Island View and it’s pier in Salakphet is one of the main bases for yachtsmen on Koh Chang.  This video gives you a  good overview of the accommodation and also some of the views you’ll see whilst out on the water.

You wouldn’t stay here if you just wanted a regular beach holiday, and the atmosphere is a bit ‘Deutsch-centric’ but if you are into  yachts then a visit to Island View is definitely in order.
