- Underwater Koh Chang
I had to write a small article on Ploy
Scuba for 'Pattaya & Beyond' magazine recently. Marc, from Ploy gave me a
selection of photos to accompany the article so I thought I might as well post
some of them here. Some were taken by a professional, others are more amateur
underwater snapshots. But all were taken during dives around Koh Chang.
Gallery 17 - Rainy
Season on Koh Chang
Ploy's speedboats parked up on an island south of Koh Chang. Another underwater thing. Coral / nudibranch, I've not a clue but it looks nice enough. The water is far clearer on the islands to the south than it off the tourist beaches here on Koh Chang. Not such a good pic, but it shows the visibility underwater is prety good. More fish, I'd guess baracudas. It's also possible to arrnge to do a bit of fishing, this photo was taken outside J.P.D. seafood restaurant in Bangbao. The guy's holding a grouper. A nudibranch - i.e. a fancy sea slug type of creature. Turtles can be seen around Koh Rang. (Quite a common sight, even i've seen one.) Fish snapped by a professional, this photographer obviously wasn't using a disposable waterproof Kodak
