- Kai Bae
Kai Bae is a halfway house between the
touristy ( for tour groups) White Sand Beach and the touristy (for backpackers) Lonely
Beach. Some nice places to stay - KB Bungalows & Kai Bae Beach in
particular. All life's essentials are here- bars, restaurants, ATMs, 7-11
and good deli.
These photos taken in the late
afternoon, some roadside, some down on the beach and a couple of the hills a few
minutes walk inland at the back of Kai Bae.

Get your "Free the Arabica Coffee Growing Tibetan Panda" T-shirts here . . and enjoy a brew from over 100 tea bags from around the world. Never a dull moment. The place to be seen, especially if you're a bikini clad chick. The empty stretch of road betwen the north and south built up areas of Kai Bae The usual selection of roadside restaurants, t-shirt vendors and motorbike hire places. On the beaten track somewhere in Kai Bae Walk a few hundred metres inland and you can see views like this. At the back of Kai Bae looking northwards. If you need to get your bearings when coming into Kai Bae from the north, look out for Chang Park Resort's lobster.
