Salakphet and Salakkok Map
This area isn’t in very good resolution in Google and it may seem that there arent many sights. That’s because most of the attractions are natural in this very scenic, ‘local’ area of the island. The views over Salakkok and Salakphet Bays should be on your ‘Must See‘ list.
Getting here is a hassle as there is no public transport so either rent a car or motorbike, or sign up for one of the guided day trips that take in the main sights.
If you do make the effort to visit the southeast of Koh Chang, you will be rewarded with some amazing views, quiet local villages, one excellent beach and not a 7-eleven , souvenir shop or tailor’s in sight. Use the controls to zoom in and click on the icons for more info about specific places on the map. Use the ‘Map’ view to see the roads in detail as the images are low resolution.
