Kai Bae Beach Map
From the far southern end of Klong prao beach it’s a 5 minute walk along the main road to reach the northern section of Kai Bae beach. You are greeted by two large but fading resorts, Cliff Beach and Chang Park plus a Russian ‘Pirates’ pub.
But fear not, Kai Bae hasn’t turned into a playground for Eastern European . . . . just yet. Whilst the northen end of the beach is popular with package tourists, the nicer southern end where you’ll find half a dozen good bungalow resorts on the beach is popular with older independent travellers and young families.
The pretty good beach coupled with a wide vqariety of shops and small restaurants by the main road make this a good alternative for anyone who thinks White Sand Beach is too tacky and touristy and Klong prao too quiet. Use the controls to zoom in and click on the icons for more info about specific places. Not every place to stay or eat with the locals by the roadside is listed. But enough to enable you to get back to your resort late at night without the aid of a GPS.
