KC Grande Resort and Spa
From 3,600 Baht/night. KC Grande Resort occupies the best stretch of beachfront on White Sand beach and provides some of the best accommodation too in two newly built hotel blocks. Worth splashing out for if you want to be on the busiest beach on the island.
Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa
From 1,900 Baht/night. Koh Chang Kacha Resort has been one of the most popular resorts on the island since it first opened. If your budget doesn’t stretch to KC Grande Resort or you need a very spacious Family Suite then Kacha Resort is the best option on White Sand beach. Good for families.
White Sand Beach Resort
Room rates from 1,500 Baht. White Sand Beach Resort is located at the far northern end of White Sand beach and is a good value beachfront resort. Simple AC bungalows on a beautiful beach. 10 minutes walk along the sand to the busier area of White Sands.
Changburi Resort and Spa
From 1,700 Baht/night. Changburi Resort & Spa is basically two separate resorts. By the beach you have accommodation in luxury villas. On the opposite side of the road are the Hillside rooms and a large pool. If you don’t need to be on the beach then these are as good value as you will get on Koh Chang.
Cookies Hotel
Room rates from 2,000 Baht. Cookies Hotel is in the centre of White Sand beach, Koh Chang. It provides good 2 star standard rooms right by the sea. If you want everything on hand and don’t need luxury, then it’s a popular choice.
BanPu Resort
From 2,900 Baht/night. BanPu Resort isn’t a resort to get over excited about. It’s on the beach, although not the best section, and is conveniently located for shops, restaurants etc but it has a very dated feel to it. Nothing here that you can’t get for cheaper, or far better at many other resorts.
Alina Resort
From 1,000 Baht/night. Alina Resort is located by the beach at the far southern end of White Sand Beach. This 35 room resort is showing it’s age a little but is one of the cheapest beachfront options on White Sand beach with fan and AC bungalows and rooms from under 1,000 Baht/night in High Season.
Mac Resort
From 2,500 Baht/night. Mac Resort is a small beachfront resort with hotel rooms and a handful of bungalows in the centre of White Sand beach. Not a place for a quiet holiday but if you like a bit of a party and a decent 2 star standard of room then it’s probably what you are looking for.
Baan San Sabay Resort
Room rates from 1,500 Baht. Baan San Sabay offers budget accommodation in airconditioned bungalows just south of the main White Sand Beach area. The beach is 10 minutes walk away. Good choice if you don’t want to pay a premium to be right by the sea.
Alina Grande Hotel
From 1,400 Baht/night. Alina Grande Resort is the newer, slightly more upmarket 55 room annex to Alina Resort which lies opposite and is on the beach. Run of the mill 2 star, no frills hotel rooms ideal for people on a budget.
Jinda Resort
From 1,100 Baht/night. Jinda Resort is handy if you just need a place to crash very close to the beach on White Sand beach. Good for the first few nights of a longer stay while you get your bearings and then head off to find better or better value rooms elsewhere.
Ban Thai Resort
From 2,000 Baht/night. Ban Thai Resort is quite a nice little boutique resort at the southern end of White Sand Beach. Only 11 rooms so cosy and personal. But the beach directly outside the hotel isn’t great, you’ll need to walk north to find a much better stretch of sand. OK if you prefer smaller places and don’t need a pool.
