From 1,500 Baht/night. Kai Bae Grande Ville Nothing spectacular but good value accommodation in hotel rooms or beach bungalows. Ideal if you want to make your holiday moneygo further and don’t require luxury.
Kai Bae Beach Resort
Room rates from 1,500 Baht. Kai Bae Beach Resort has numerous styles of bungalow in the centre of Kai Bae beach. A very convenient location, with beach restaurants nearby and only a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants on the main road. Nothing spectacular but ideal for families on a budget.
Garden Resort
Room rates from 2,200 baht. Garden Resort, as the name suggests, isn’t by the beach. It is located on the inland side of the main road in the centre of Kai Bae, a couple of minutes walk to the sand. Well managed resort with comfortable bungalows, small pool and everything you need within a few minutes walk.
The Chill
Room rates from 5,000 Baht. The Chill is one of the resorts to put on your shortlist if you just want to get away from it all and have a week or two of boutique luxury on Koh Chang. Located in the centre of Kai Bae beach close to shops and restaurants. minimalist, rather than mock Thai, design.
Siam Bay Resort
Room rates from 1,200 Baht. Siam Bay Resort is in a secluded location at the far southern end of Kai Bae Beach. It’s a very peaceful spot with no loud bars, annoying beach vendors or guests from other resorts wandering past your bungalow. Range of rooms including new 100sqm pool villas for only 4,000 Baht/night.
Chang Park Resort
Room rates from 1,900 Baht. Chang Park Resort is the largest resort on Kai Bae Beach. It has extensive grounds with plenty of open space for kids to play. It is also located on a short but rather nice sandy beach. But now leased by a Russian tour company.
Coral Resort
Room rates from 1,500 Baht Coral Resort occupies a superb location in the centre of Kai Bae beach. It’s a quiet spot with some of the best views you’ll find. The resort itself isn’t that attractive though, uninspiring concrete bungalows. Good if your first choice is full.
