Baan San Sabay is a small, six bungalow resort by the roadside on the hill leading south out of White Sand Beach.  There are several small bars, restaurants and resorts in this area which is popular with long stay visitors and those looking for better value accommodation.

The bright airy bungalows have the same facilities e.g. AC, cable TV, minibar,  spacious balcony -  as others costing far more but which are closer to the beach.   So if a beachfront location isn’t a priority, then it’s definitely worth considering.

The actual  beach is about 10-15 minutes walk away, a nice downhill stroll in the morning but coming back can get tiring in the hot sun.  Not recommended for families with young kids or anyone who doesn’t enjoy a walk.  Nearby on the roadside is a smattering of restaurants, shops and beer bars.
