Alina Grande Hotel

Handcrafted by on August 30, 2011 2 Comments

Alina Grande Resort is a basically the newer, slightly more upmarket 55 room annex to Alina Resort.  It is located on the opposite side of the main road and provides functional, spacious aircon rooms with cable TV and hot water showers etc.

Everything you need is within 2 minutes walk.  Not for anyone looking for an island escape but if you just want a comfortable place to base yourself and like  your shopping and nightlife then it’ll do you nicely.

It’s a step up from Alina Resort but, again, don’t expect too many frills.  For a 2 star hotel on White Sand beach it isn’t a bad deal. A swimming pool is located at the rear of the hotel.

Nice hotel. Very clean, basic and good value for money. Casual and easy going. Would stay here again.

We were put in the Alina on the beach first of all which was extremely old and run down. Shower and handbasin did not work and the bed was dirty. The following morning we moved across the road to the main hotel which was excellent. Would definitely recommend as a value-for-money hotel.
