Bailan Beach Resort is a recently renovated small resort is located on the shores of the quiet Bailan Bay in southwest Koh Chang.  It has a small sandy beach and large garden area – ideal for relaxing. Bailan is a hamlet with a few shops and small resorts but none of the nightlife associated with the larger, more well known beach areas to the north.  ( However, for a night out, Lonely beach is only 5 minutes away.)

The bungalows are mainly set in a  tropical garden with a handful of beachfront bungalows occupying prime position.  By the beach you’ll find hammocks strung between the palms  where you can read or relax and listen to the sound of the ocean.

Resort facilities include  a restaurant which serves Thai and Western food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An open pavilion deck area where you can read, talk or relax.  The resort also provides the usual amenities such as laundry service, motorbike rental, kayak rental, Thai massage and Free wi-fi internet.

Room Types:

Garden View Bungalows: The Garden View Bungalows are set back from the beach in a tropical garden amidst the coconut palms.  They feature traditional wooden furniture; fan; western bathroom with hot water shower; a balcony and Double or Twin beds.

Sea View Deluxe Bungalows: These are located directly on the beach and all have a sea view from the bed & balcony. These rooms are air-conditioned; have Western bathroom with hot water shower; Cable TV with European channels and either a Double or Twin beds.

Superior Bungalows: These spacious, modern bungalows are located in the garden and have partial sea views. The tastefully decorated bungalows all feature a Double bed; air-conditioning; Cable TV, Fridge; Western bathroom with hot water shower and balcony with garden/sea view.

Superior Young Family & Family Bungalows: These family-sized, modern bungalows are located in the garden and have partial sea views.   These new bungalows come with either Two Double Beds  (Family) or a Double Bed + Bunk Beds (Young Family).  All bungalows come with  air-conditioning; Cable TV, Fridge; Western bathroom with hot water shower and balcony with garden/sea view.

Note that no extra beds are provided for all room types.
