VAYNA Boutique Resort is sandwiched between the two of the best five star resorts on the island – the Emerald Cove and The Dewa. Like these resorts, it has ensuite air-conditioned rooms with hot water, minibar and cable TV. It also has a beachfront pool and restaurant plus a small spa / massage place by the beach. However, it’s under half the price.

So what’s the catch? Well, there isn’t one. Previously this resort was known as VJ Searenity Resort. It was one of those places with mid price rooms, mis-matched furniture and fittings and shiny tiles everywhere. The good news is that the resort has recently undergone a name change and has been totally renovated.
VAYNA Boutique Resort is one of the best value beach resorts on Koh Chang. Modern stylish rooms, a bright and breezy breakfast area and every bit the equal of resorts costing double the price.
High season room rates for 2020 are from around 2,200 Baht / night.
So, if you can live without too much pampering and don’t need superfluous luxuries or a huge pool in order to enjoy your holiday, then VAYNA Boutique Resort is definitely worth considering. The location is great with shops and restaurants 5 minutes walk away on the main road and there are a couple of good beach restaurants close by. Both Klong Prao village and Kai Bae village are both within walking distance, or a 2 minute taxi ride.

Great view, remote location, fantastic hosts 😀 - Room had an awesome view and the staff were incredibly accommodating, helpful and lovely. Food at the resort was pretty good too! 😞 - Unfortunately the pool didn’t seem to be operational when we arrived, a heads up would have been nice as we were so excited to jump in since it was so hot! Compensation wasn’t provided either. Room was pretty basic and had all you needed, but could do with a little revamping.

I wasnt impressed that it was very much isolated and that it wasnt easy to move around 😀 - some nice views 😞 - location remoteness, on a slope not easy to move around, no true access to sea for swimming, pool looked outdated and not clean

3 nights in Resolution Resort 😀 - Everything was as i expected. Really nice place in remote location. Good hotel for relaxing holiday away from tourist crowds. I forget glasses in my room and hotel staff contacted me and send them to me!!! Very polite move. Can recommend this place.

it was a very pleasent time there! Very fine staff. Thank you! 😀 - Clean stylish seafront bungalow apartment Great View Big seafront window overlooking the fishing village and lighthouse in the quiet south of the island. Great steak in the hotels restaurant Compfty good bed Very cosy resort 😞 - don't hit the bed frame with your shin no rice soup for breakfast! no private terrace older people might not like the stairs, np for sub 60.

Cozy, calm, beautiful. 😀 - insanely beautiful location, monkeys come to visit every day, clear sea, friendly staff. COZY! 😞 - Terrible housekeeping, (tips didn't help), breakfast is a joke.. there are no shops around.
