souk-koh-changBungalows from 600 Baht / Night

The Souk Resort, Koh Chang A place to really disconnect from the hustle and bustle of your normal world !

The Souk is nestled amongst the coconut plantations, with sweeping ocean views and a dramatic jungle canopy to the rear.  This budget boutique bungalow resort is located in a small bay on the tranquil east coast of Koh Chang.  It consists of distinctive circular Polynesian style bungalows cocooned in beautifully landscaped gardens scattered with captivating installation art.

Bungalows are simple, all Fan rooms, but are very tastefully decorated and have a wonderful indoor/ outdoor shower room.

The resort has been established for several years but is one of those places that is missed by most mainstream visitors, you wont see many reviews online or in guidebooks  or any large adverts in local guides for the island.  But The Souk has a very loyal following of guests who keep returning to chill out on the verandah, enjoy the Thai and European food and range of cocktails served up in the beachfront restaurant and to savour the hospitality provided by the eclectic partners.

Definitely recommended, if you don’t need airconditioning  and are looking for a far better value , not to mention quieter, beach bungalow than you’ll find for the same money on the busier west coast.
