Nisa Cabana Resort is located in no-man’s land on a clifftop midway between Bailan and Bangbao in the southwest of Koh Chang. It’s a resort to consider of you want a 3-4 star resort well away from families with young kids, as they will usually opt for a beachfront resort.
The resort itself is very nicely laid out and a great deal of time has obviously gone into landscaping and laying out the lush tropical gardens. Many reviews also comment on the high quality of the staff who seem to be able to get the little things just right a go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction, which is a rarity on Koh Chang.
There is a very nice pool with panoramic sea views but there is no beach access here and no beach within walking distance. However, a free shuttle service to Klong Kloi beach on the south coast of Koh Chang not far from Bangbao, is provided by the resort. There are also no shops or restaurants within walking distance, so this really is a resort for nature lovers who are happy to spend time in their resort or rely on hotel transport to get them out and about.
Very good but servicing a niche market, and I’m sure most of you reading this will end up staying in more conveniently located beachfront accommodation of a similar standard and similar price.
