Currently under construction in the Chai Chet area of Klong Prao is a small development comprising eight 3.5 floor shop houses.

 

The two blocks contain units ranging in size from 184 - 280sqm and in price from 5,999,000  - 9,800,000 Baht. 

 

Units in Building A have sunset sea views from the top floor.  In Building B, units 7 & 8 will also have sea views across Klong Prao beach from the top floor.

Architect & Construction

Designed and built by KEC - Koh Chang's largest construction firm.  Responsible for designing and building many of the new resorts on the island.

 

Completion Date

Building A is expected to be completed by late September 2007.  Building B by late 2007

 

Financing

Not available to foreign buyers.  However, foreigners with a Thai spouse can apply for an 80% mortgage in the spouse's name, from either Bangkok Bank or Siam City Bank, both have branches on Koh Chang.

 

Rent with an option to buy

If you aren't ready or able to purchase immediately, but would like to secure a unit and establish your business now, it will be possible to rent for an initial 12 month period with an option to buy at the end of the rental period.  interested parties will be able to discuss terms with the developer.

 

Purchasing

Units can be owned Freehold by Thai nationals or a Thai registered company or under a 30 year +30 year long lease for foreign buyers.
