Tranquility Bay Residence, Bangbao, Koh Chang
On Site Photos - Updated photos 2007.
Anyone who has been keeping an eye on progress
reports that I've added to the main page of this site from time to
time will have seen that the interiors of the condominiums have been
redesigned, which also included remodeling the interiors of each
unit to accommodate the changes. Everything form the materials
used to totally remodeled and so bear very little resemblance to the
original designs. Having this work done meant no units could be
fitted out until the new designs were ready, new materials
sourced and craftsmen found who could build the interiors to the
required specifications. Changes include Italian tiling in the
bathrooms, custom made kitchen units and the best German UPVC
balcony doors & windows available.
Photos
This photo shows the slope of the land.
The 60 & 120 sqm units are at the top of the slop with the 104sqm
below. Villas are built on land at sea level. This
allows all owners to have sea views from their property.

View from the balcony of Condo B6, looking
south. The pier will extend to a point just past the sandbar
that is visible in the photo.

Pilings and supports for 104sqm condo blocks BB
& CC are now complete. Within a couple of months the roofs
will start to go on and then units can be fitted, ready for
completion within several months.

View from Condo C4, looking out across Bangbao
village. The UPVC windows are wood effect, however they are
still covered with to avoid damage during the fitting out of the
condo units.

The pilings for Block A are completed and this
building should be completed by early 2008 at the latest.

myself - Has anything been built? Is the name
'Tranquility Bay' hype? Does it have a 2 star, 200-room resort
sharing the beach? See for yourself.
