October 2006 - A Visit to Koh Mak after the
rainy season
The photos on this page show the estate of
construction as of late October 2006. The land was
originally overgrown brush & jungle. Preparatory work only
began in early 2006, clearing the land, keeping only the large trees
for shade. So in less that 9 months, including a month or so
during the rainy season when work was impossible due to the bad
weather the development has gone from being raw land to having two
house fully completed and several more under construction with the
aim to complete them by the end of the year. The final end
date for all construction here is late 2007. This allows
for a couple of months during high season when no heavy construction
work will take place in order to avoid disturbing guests at nearby
resorts.
Buyers are regularly updated on the progress of
their own house by the way of photos taken regularly.
