Koh Mak
I went back there for a couple of days
in mid-January. Some of the photos I took are below. Some pretty
nice beaches here - definitely worth visiting.
Photos
New bungalows and pool bar at Koh Mak
Resort. Designed by the owner's son, the bungalows are an acquired
taste but the pool bar ' Ocean Place' is very nice. Nothing like it on
Koh Chang.

A few beach photos. Play 'Spot
the tourist'. I think there's less than ten visible in four photos.

Ball Cafe, Ao Nid pier. Run by
Ball and his wife. Enjoy good coffee and a great view of Koh Kood and
get all the local info you need here.

The recently renovated kindergarten.
Renovations were paid for by donations from resort owners and expats who
bought houses on the island.

The island's only form of public
transport which also doubles as delivery van, garbage van etc

Yet more empty beaches

The island where old VW Combis go to
die . . .
