A few photos of the southern part of White Sand beach, Koh Chang
This is the area where all the hotels
are. Once you get past Kacha Reosrt the sand makes way for a mix of
stones and rougher sand. Not particularly attractive. But it's
here than the Changburi Resort is located, serving the niche market for
people with US$200 a night to spend but don't want a good beach out front.
Elsewhere along this stretch you'll find loads of resorts, restaurants
and beach bars.

Resort

This is low season, high season is far
busier.

White Sand Beach is the only beach where
you'll see deckchairs out on the sand.

Looking north from Kacha Resort.
Note the ominous stones.

The nicest pool on White Sand Beach is at Kacha Resort

Nearby Thor's is one of the most
popular restaurants, although you wouldn't know it from looking at this
photo. Trust me, it's usually busier.

say good bye sand, hello stones.

Finally, a quick look north to remind
yourself what sand looks like.

One reason people stay at Koh Mak Villa
is for the views.
There are roads on the island, some
paved & some not, but none are ever gridlocked.
Looking north, the mountains in the
distance are on Koh Chang
Down at sea level with Koh Kham in the
foreground, Koh Wai & Koh Chang are in the distance
Looking south along Ao Khao Beach, Koh
Kood is visible on the right of the photo

towards Koh Rayang
To get to the small islands nearby,
you'll need one of these
